Fully refurbished, vintage writing bureau.

 

The original dark stained finish was very aged and worn, so the bureau has been renovated and updated for a new lease of life.

 

It is painted in 'Wise Old Sage' which is a lovely sage green from the Frenchic paint range, to contrast with the interior shelves which are a dark green. The writing surface has also been treated with extra coats of clear varnish for extra protection.

 

The handles are original and have been polished.

The locks in the flap and drawers are also the original ones but the key is not and is for ease of opening only.

 

The bureau dates from the 1920/30's, so a few small signs of previous use.
