Fully refurbished, vintage oak writing bureau.

 

The original dark oak finish was very aged and worn, so the bureau has been renovated and updated for a new lease of life.

 

It is painted in 'Black forest' which is a lovely dark green from the Frenchic paint range, to contrast with the interior oak surface and drawer which have been finished in a natural oil and wax to bring out the original oak grain features.

 

The writing surface is the original with a few minor marks, and the brass hardware has been cleaned and polished.

 

The lock is original but the key is not and is just for ease of opening.

 

The bureau dates from the 1950's, so a few small signs of previous use.
